Yes they are! Some are very close and the rest are close by too. The deluxe townhouse with courtyard is closer to the front of the property without a pool view.
Absolutely! Our spacious apartments give families that extra room to breathe and move around. Our pool is completely fenced off. There is a grass area where kids and play and run around. We even have pool toys and beach toys available free of charge to borrow during your stay. There are stairs in each townhouse, we don’t supply baby gates however there are hire companies that do.
Yes, there is a bedroom on the ground floor in every apartment. In the deluxe townhouses there is also a bathroom on the ground floor. In the standard townhouses there are 2 single beds in the downstairs bedroom, and the one bathroom is upstairs.
We include a basic starter pack of tea/ coffee and sugar and small milk, plus a few small toiletries and a couple of rolls of toilet paper roll in each bathroom. We supply a few dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. We do not supply these for the duration of your stay, they are just a starter pack. Extra supplies can be purchased from reception or nearby supermarkets as needed.
The deluxe townhouses are slightly larger with a king bed in the master bedroom, the standard units have a queen bed in the master bedroom.
The main difference is that the deluxe townhouses have two bathrooms – one upstairs and one downstairs whereas the standard townhouses only have one bathroom – upstairs. Note- if you book a one bedroom deluxe you only book one bathroom but have the choice of up or downstairs. If you would like the second bathroom open please enquire at reception.
A 7th person can be accommodated on a roller bed in the main bedroom. This costs an extra $40 per night and is subject to availability. Roller beds are suitable for children, if you are more than 6 adults please enquire as to your options

Yes, you can hire a portacot for $10 per night (max charge $50) including linen. The cot can easily fit in the main bedroom. If you hire a cot we also include a high chair if you would like one.
Yes, all bed linen is included, and so are bath towels. Pool towels are not included. Pool towels can be hired from reception for $5 per towel. For larger groups or families please advise prior to arrival so we can have enough ready for you.
The pool is heated to a lovely 30 degrees from approximately May to mid September so our guests can enjoy year-round swimming in our beautiful pool.
Yes, there is an undercover car park on the property. There is enough space for one car per townhouse, extra cars will need to park outside unless prior arrangements are made.
There is free unlimited Wifi in every apartment!
Absolutely! We love helping our guests make the most of their time in Far North Queensland. At reception we have brochures and information for all the available tours in Port Douglas. We have also experienced most of them ourselves so have first hand knowledge. By booking tours through us, there is no upfront payment, no credit card fees and no extra costs.
Our reception hours vary with the demands of the business. Generally 9-3 weekdays and mornings only on the weekends. As we do most of the cleaning and grounds and maintenance, we are often onsite but not necessarily in reception all day. To make it easy we have a phone at reception so you can call us and we can either pop back up to reception or answer any questions you have. This phone can also be used in an emergency or to make local calls by our guests.
The best way to make a reservation is directly via this website. Your direct discount is automatically applied and you are not paying percentages to third parties overseas. If you have any questions before you book you can call during normal business hours on 07 4099 5666 or email anytime to email@example.com. You can also call us to make a booking if you like.
For direct bookings, a deposit of one night is taken 7 days prior to arrival. The balance is payable once you arrive. If you would like to pay in advance you can, please ask us how. We accept credit card, debit card/ eftpos, cash, or direct credit. A valid credit card must be provided to make a booking. For bookings through third parties such as booking.com, please refer to their bookings conditions.
Direct bookings cancelled with more than 7 days’ notice will not be charged any cancellation fee. Direct bookings cancelled with less 7 days’ notice, but with 24 or more hours’ notice will be charged one night’s cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or on the day of arrival, or in the case of a no show, will be charged the full amount of the reservation. A credit card is required to secure the reservation and the first nights tariff may be taken at the time of reservation. If you book through a third party (eg. Airbnb, Booking.com etc) then the cancellation policy will be different. Other policies apply to bookings made through third parties.
Group bookings (more than 2 rooms) can be accommodated but please get in touch for terms and conditions (minimum 14 day cancellation policy applies).
If you have to cancel within 7 days of arrival (but more than 24 hours before arrival) then there is a cancellation fee of one night. If we are able to resell the house for the dates you had booked, then we are happy to move your deposit to a future booking. Please contact us for further information. This policy is for direct bookings, if you have booked through a third party then please check with the company you booked with.
We do not have long term accommodation rentals and are holiday let only, however we can sometimes offer short term accommodation for out of town workers or contractors- please contact us for availability. This is usually only available from November to May.
When you arrive at reception you will find an envelope on the notice board with your surname on it. The welcome letter inside will detail how to locate your apartment.
Check out is by 10am and check in is from 2pm. Late check outs, if possible, incur a late check out fee. Early check in’s may be possible with prior arrangement but cannot be guaranteed.
We do not accept schoolie groups as we are family friendly accommodation. We have a quiet after 10pm policy and the pool is closed overnight. So no parties or schoolie groups are permitted.
Four Mile Beach is approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Tropical Nites
Macrossan Street with the main shops, supermarket, chemist and close to most of the restaurants is approximately 15 minutes’ walk or a 2 minute drive. Macrossan Street is 1.4km away.
There is free car parking on and around Macrossan Street.
The super yacht marina is a lovely 10-15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. There is also free car parking at the Marina.
Yes! There are local shuttles that can pick you up and drop you off from the front of the property. Cost is $5 into town or $8 return (as of Jan 2023), and multitrip passes are available. There are also a couple of taxis and ubers in town.
