What is the difference between the Classic/ Standard Units and the Deluxe Units?
The main difference is that the Deluxe units have two bathrooms – one upstairs and one downstairs whereas the Standard units only have one bathroom – upstairs.
The Deluxe units are just slightly larger with a king bed in the master bedroom, the Standard units have a queen bed in the master bedroom.
Is Tropical Nites suitable for young children?
Absolutely! Our spacious apartments give families that extra room to breathe and move around. Our pool is completely fenced off. There is a grass area where kids and play and run around. We even have pool toys and beach toys available free of charge to borrow during your stay.
Are there any bedrooms on the ground floor?
Yes, there is a bedroom on the ground floor in every apartment. In the deluxe townhouses there is also a bathroom on the ground floor.
Are all the rooms near the pool?
Yes they are! Some are very close and the rest are close by too.
How often are rooms serviced?
Rooms are serviced once every 7 days. This includes a change of bed linen and bath towels. Extra services and towels are not included in the daily or weekly room prices and can be organised for a fee at reception. All townhouses have laundry facilities.
What supplies are included when we arrive?
We include a basic starter pack of tea/ coffee and sugar, plus a few small toiletries and a toilet paper roll in each bathroom. Extra supplies can be purchased from reception or nearby supermarkets as needed.
Can we hire a cot for an infant?
Yes, you can hire a portacot for $10 per night (max charge $40) including linen. The cot can easily fit in the main bedroom.
Are towels and bed linen included?
Yes, all bed linen is included, and so are bath towels. Pool towels are not included. We can hire pool towels from reception for $5 per towel. For larger groups or families please advise prior to arrival so we can have enough ready for you.
Is the pool heated?
The pool is heated to a lovely 30 degrees from approximately May to October so our guests can enjoy year-round swimming in our beautiful pool.
Is there off street parking at Tropical Nites?
Yes, there is an undercover car park on the property. There is enough space for one car per townhouse, extra cars will need to park outside unless prior arrangements are made.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We have free unlimited Wifi in every apartment!
How do I make a reservation at Tropical Nites?
The best way to make a reservation is to call or email us directly. Even if you email out of office hours we shall get back to you as quickly as we can. By booking directly you can let us know all your requirements, arrival details and we can answer all your questions. Call us on 07 4099 5666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
When do I pay for my accommodation?
A deposit of one night can be taken upon booking or 14 days prior to arrival. The balance is payable once you are here.
What is your cancellation policy?
Bookings cancelled with more than 14 days’ notice will not be charged any cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled with less 14 days’ notice, but with 24 or more hours’ notice will be charged one night’s cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or on the day of arrival, or in the case of a no show, will be charged the full amount of the reservation. A credit card is required to secure the reservation and the first nights tariff may be taken at the time of reservation.
Can you organise an airport transfer for us?
We certainly can. Please let us know your flight details and we can arrange return airport transfers. Charges apply.
Can I book my local tours at Tropical Nites?
Yes, our reception area has a comprehensive display of brochures and information for all the local tours and attractions. Booking your tours through rus does not cost you any extra nor charge you any credit card fees. It also means all of your bookings are in one place and you can just pay for them with your accommodation once you are here.
Do you offer a discount for long term stays?
Yes – please call or email us directly. This is only available from November to May and there are limited room allocations.
Minimum 3 week stay applies for discount. A weekly price includes a weekly linen change and service. If you are here for work and need somewhere comfortable and self-contained to stay – please enquire.
I am arriving out of reception hours, what should I do?
When you arrive at reception you will find an envelope on the notice board with your surname on it. The welcome letter inside will detail how to locate your apartment.
Can more than 6 people share a 3 bedroom apartment?
An extra person can be accommodated on a roller bed in the main bedroom. This costs an extra $30 per night and is subject to availability. Roller beds are suitable for children, if you are more than 6 adults please enquire as to your options.
How long does it take to get to Four Mile Beach?
Four Mile Beach is approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Tropical Nites
How long does it take to get to the main street?
Macrossan Street with the main shops, supermarket, chemist and close to most of the restaurants is approximately 15 minutes’ walk or a 2 minute drive.
There is free car parking on and around Macrossan Street.
How long does it take to get to the Marina?
The super yacht marina is a lovely 10-15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. There is also free car parking at the Marina.
